Alison is an internationally published author with titles on Leadership, Management, Entrepreneurship and the Psychology of Success, which are published by Icon Books. The Psychology of Success book has reached the top 300 of all books on the Amazon Kindle Best Seller List, and has been amongst one of the top ranking books in the ‘Psychology’ category.
Alison has extensive experience in leadership and management development and team building. Examples of her work have included designing a company wide leadership training course programme for Legal & General. Her work with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) included designing a major training programme on Event Leadership to prepare all managers to lead at the London 2012 Games, and designing and delivering bespoke team building sessions for the London 2012 venue teams.
Alison is an inspirational keynote speaker, for example speaking at the World of Learning Conference on the psychology behind effective training design.
Alison is a Lecturer on the Business Psychology Masters programme for Kingston University where she lectures on a range of topics including personnel selection, candidate assessment, leadership and organisational change.
Alison was a semi-finalist in Britain’s Next Top Coach, which was a competition to inspire Britain to greatness ahead of the London 2012 Olympics. She has worked with over 1,500 individuals, motivating them to make more out of their lives and careers. She combines her experience as a facilitator with her expertise as a psychologist to create powerful and lasting results.
Alison is qualified in a range of psychometric and personality tests, including Hogan MVPI, Hogan Development Survey, Hogan Personality Inventory, 16PF and MBTI, to help individuals, teams and managers make breakthroughs in their development. Alison is also authorised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) to offer a training course for people who want to qualify in delivering psychometrics. Completion of the combined Test User: Occupational, Ability and Personality course (previously called BPS Level A and B training) enables HR personnel or consultants to deliver ability and certain personality psychometric tests within their organisations.
Alison is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol), an Occupational Psychologist, a Chartered Scientist (CSci), an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS), a Full Member of British Psychological Society (BPS) – Division of Occupational, a Principal Member of the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
